I haven’t always been a freelance marketing writer. I have taught world literature, composition and poetry writing at the college level. I’ve written and produced stories for an NPR affiliate. I’ve written direct mail packages for an auto insurance company, and produced videos for a large nonprofit. I’ve even worked as a parts picker in an auto parts warehouse. I believe that my background in poetry and education is an asset to my clients: I pay close attention to the sound and music of my copy, as well as the message, and from years of teaching I'm skilled at breaking down complex subjects and presenting them to others.
